Flying Kraken Creative Studios is a Canadian-based imaginarium that produces original animation content. It’s a boutique shop with big ideas, brought to life in 2011 by award-winning industry veterans Rose-Ann Tisserand and Greg Huculak, collaborators driven by the power of storytelling.
Specializing in design, development and production, they have more than 30 years of combined experience in film and television.
Rose-Ann Tisserand has more than 200 hours of credits and has worked as a production executive for 17 years, specializing in feature animation, episodic TV and client/broadcaster management. She was supervising producer at Bardel Entertainment and New Machine Studios, chief operating officer for Twenty One Inc., and is a founding member of Drawn Together Vancouver, which advances women in the animation industry.
Greg Huculak is a highly regarded conceptual artist, production designer and director who’s worked in animation for more than 15 years. He’s developed visual and/or art direction for Disney XD, eOne Entertainment, Amazon, Hulu, Spin Master, Bento Box, Gaumont, Silvergate Media, PBS, Nelvana, Hit UK, Bardel Entertainment, and many more. He’s also worked for major animation studios on two continents.
Flying Kraken currently has a pre-school series called “Pop in Park” with TVO.
